Positive Projection for Perth

Perth is the capital and largest city of the Australian State of Western Australia and the fourth most populous city in Australia. As business and administration centre for the resource-rich State, Perth has growth consistently faster than the national average. Perth is tied for eight places in the “The Economists” 2011 list of the World’s most livable cities. (Source Wikipedia)

WA is certainly Australia in terms of planned business Investment and has the fastest growing population of all the States. Factors influenced by this include Western Australian’s continued high population growth and its second mining boom. Event hough WA is experiencing run-down of prices, Perth still managed to produce some gains to its housing index.  Perth in housing finance data had indicated early a sign of recovery and most companies predicts Perth houses will rise. According to Andrew Wilson, Senior Economist, Australia Property Monitors said “It was possible the city would see further falls in prices this year, but expected the market to “rebound strongly”.

I do believe that Perth house prices would increase for 2012 because Western Australia is home to Australia’s fastest growing population and rentals will be raised and investors will start moving back into the property market.
